Program Description
Event Details
Book Buddies is a reading mentoring program, which pairs a teen (ages 13-17) with a young reader (entering 1st – 5th grade). This is a great opportunity for children to strengthen their reading skills. The volunteer teens have completed a training session, and the child-teen pairs will be supervised by a library staff member during the 20- minute reading session.
Teen volunteers will be available:
Mondays 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Monday 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Tuesdays 3:00-4:00 p.m.
