The Red Brick Theatre will be holding auditions for A Christmas Carol at the Delphi Opera House on Sunday, September 8th, 3-6pm and Monday, September 9th, 6:30-9pm. Callbacks if needed will be held on Tuesday, September 10th from 6:30-8:30pm.
Directors Kerry and Lee Ann Arnold are looking to cast 10-14 adults and 5-8 children/teens (ages 8 and up). This will be an ensemble cast and you may play more than one character in the play. The script includes a few Christmas carols and some dancing. You do not need to be an amazing singer or dancer to be in this play. This is not the musical version.
Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script and possibly do a little movement. They can prepare a proper English or cockney accent for auditions, but it is not required.
The first read-through will be Wednesday, September 18th at 6:30pm. Full rehearsals starting Monday, September 23rd and running through October and beginning of November. We have taken fall breaks into consideration when making the schedule. Rehearsals will be 3-4 days a week, but you won’t be called every night. Performance dates are Friday, November 15th, Saturday, November 16th at 7pm and Sunday, November 17th at 2pm. Please bring a list of potential rehearsal conflicts with you to auditions.
We look forward to seeing you at auditions. If you have any questions, you can email Lee Ann at arnold_leeann@yahoo.com or text 765-430-3420.A Christmas Carol recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future.
